The Inner Sanctum

What you read here, will be what's running through my head - True and Honest thoughts. Will range between a few things, my life, my thoughts, my sport and finally my family and friends. Enjoy
I tend to agree with a majority of these points. Girls, come at me.

These boys wanted their photo last night whilst I was waiting for the MCG lights to go on…Hope they had a good night!

tiger-mad-hayden asked: hey champion, you dont know me - but i just saw your dreamteam for this round sub ellis(rich) for bugg(gws) because has been rested

Yeah, already done! I posted the photo last night, before the teams were announced.

GWS’s outs are going to cost me this week…Smith, Kennedy and Coniglio are also out (rested).
Have quite the easy week in all my leagues, so I should be right.

Thanks for the follow, too. :)

Art is Everywhere

That super awkward moment when you’ve been on a train that much you recognise the graffiti. The guy who took this photo is on the Pakenham train, inbetween Narre Warren and Dandenong. Fact…but sad. Never the less, it’s also a half decent photo - hence the reblog! :)

Bowled quite superbly in the Caribbean, then he gets dropped into a few IPL games and claims a couple of wickets per game!

If it isn’t Hilfyyy! I’ve met him quite a few times, when my cousin was good mates with him back in Ulverstone, Tasmania. They played state footy together for Tasmania in the late 90’s/early 00’s. And to think, he’s gone from playing Footy for the Ulverstone Robins to tearing up batsman in international cricket….not to mention earning the millions of dollars! Well done Hilf…

Jealousy is a bitch…

Why do I always manage to get jealous of other people, in one form or another?

Day 4 - Favourite Forward in your team and why

I presume when the question refers to ‘my team’, they’re talking about the team I support. In which case, my favourite forward for Collingwood is an easy choice for me.

A little pocket rocket who entered the team in 2010 where he impressed many and really hasn’t looked back since. I’m talking about the midget on the team; Jarryd Blair. Number 47 in his debut year and now you can find him running around with 11 on his back.

I for one have loved him ever since his very first game in the Black and White. He goes hard at the ball and is never afraid of a challenge!

Notable Achievements:

  • Number 27 Draft Pick (2009)
  • 2010 Premiership Player (2nd youngest player to win a premiership for Collingwood)
  • 2011 NAB CUP Premiership Player
  • 2011 Grand Final Player
  • 40 goals in 41 games - including a match winning goal (ANZAC Day, 2012)

Casey Kids 5-12 Student Leadership Day…

Today, both my co-captain Rebecca and myself were fortunate enough to attend the Casey Kids 5-12 Student Leadership Day. We were asked to attend this about a fortnight ago and we were also asked to run a session about 15-20 minutes for each group of 20(ish) students. We basically had no idea what it was…We’d got given a few dot points that we could talk about…but that was it! It turned out to be a morning that I really did enjoy….

Day 2: What has been your favourite AFL moment so far?

With you knowing that i’m a Collingwood supporter, you’d presume the 2010 Grand Final win is my favourite AFL moment so far, right? Wrong…I actually have 2 favourite AFL moments, both happening in the Magpies premiership year.

Day 1: Which team do you support and why?

Collingwood. They’ve just been my team for as long as I can remember. My dad supports Carlton and my mum and nanny barrack for Collingwood. I don’t think they had a huge influence over who I supported. I can’t even remember how I even started to support Collingwood…..I’m fairly sure it was just one of those things where I just woke up one day as a young 4 year old and started to say I supported ‘The Pies’. It hasn’t changed since then! I’m now as passionate as ever and try to attend every game possible. My friends and family really know how much I love my boys!

I must admit though…I do have extremely vague memories of supporting Melbourne. It was the city I lived in and it was the only team I knew. This was when I was like, 3 though….Never really understood things back then.

This looks like an absolute tonne of fun!
